Sofia Chernylo

Sofia Chernylo serves as our Chief Accounting Officer and has over 25 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, and finance.  

Prior to joining NETSTREIT, Sofia was Vice President, Corporate Controller at Tupperware Brands Corporation from July 2022 to December 2024, where she led a team responsible for corporate accounting and financial reporting. Prior to Tupperware, Sofia worked at Green Brick Partners, Inc. (NYSE: GRBK), a homebuilding and land development company, from July 2018 to July 2022, where she advanced through various roles before becoming the Vice President, Corporate Controller responsible for the company’s accounting and financial reporting. Sofia also held various positions at Colgate-Palmolive Company (NYSE: CL) from 2007 to 2018, including an assignment to establish an Accounts Receivable department in Warsaw, Poland shared services center. Sofia was a manager in KPMG Advisory in New York, NY from 2005 to 2007; a US GAAP consolidation lead in TNK-BP, a major Russian oil company, from 2003 to 2005, and held various roles in PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit in Moscow, Russia from 2001 to 2003.  

Sofia graduated with honors from the Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
